THE GAME

TECH CORP. was a game that was to be played through the late 80’s to modern date. You begin as a small company in your garage and begin to work your way up as technology advances and becomes available to you whether through your own “inventions” or other companies. As your company becomes bigger, you decide whether to diversify your company or specialize in certain products. You can range from Video game consoles, video games, cameras, computers, phones, televisions and eventually streaming services and software all while customizing through out the process.

FACTORY LOOP

In game there were certain looped clips of factories organizing shipments along with cargo being hauled off in trucks/ships/and planes. These would pop up in a little window on the side as you continued to manage your company from your office just to give some type of imagery of what was happening with your product once you green lit it’s production.

MACHINES

As you begin growing your company and can purchase your first factory, you need to begin to create displays, batteries, ram etc. through raw materials that you purchase before you begin to produce your products. With this machine, you can take those raw materials and create these things. As you grow bigger and want to focus your company on producing only products you can begin to outsource this material and start to purchase the machines you see below.

Upgrading Your Machines.

Here was another idea that didn’t fully come to fruition. You were to slowly but surely upgrade your machines as technology advanced through the times. These upgrades would speed up productivity and reduce breakdowns through production as well as upping competition in the market rendering these upgrades to be pretty mandatory.
